FrieslandCampina required a high quality, HACCP compliant logistics centre for the storage of dairy based dry goods in close proximity of their manufacturing plant. The warehouse lay-out needed improved operational efficiency for material handling but also needed to be modular with compartments for separated storage of finished product.

FrieslandCampina required a high quality, HACCP compliant logistics centre for the storage of dairy based dry goods in close proximity of their manufacturing plant.

Solution
We developed a 10.000 m² food safe logistics centre with 4 storage compartments, separated by divisional walls. The building is also fitted out with a dehumidifying system and speed doors to secure product quality. The building meets high sustainability standards and has acquired a BREAAM very good label.

Result
The logistics centre is a built to suit development which is compliant to food safety and enables a high logistics performance and provides operational comfort. The building design also incorporates flexibility to adapt to future needs.
