Build to suit

Mega Group decided to centralize their European distribution activities. The aim was to optimize the supply chain footprint and consolidate the inbound flows of their suppliers, improve handling costs and optimize the European network from one location.

Solution

We developed a logistics centre that meets their current logistics requirements but can also be adapted to potential future business scenarios. The logistics centre consists of 11.000 m² warehouse, 4.000 m² canopy as well as 2.000 m² of office space and is energetically self-supporting. The logistics centre has a tailor-made floor and foundation to handle heavyweight paternoster systems and special features for dangerous goods storage.

Result

A built to suit development that meets the current and future requirements of Mega Group. The building is configured to be adaptable to changing business requirements. Besides low energy consumption the floor heating system with ground pumps also provides comfort and well-being to all epmployees.
